The Certified Professional Coder Hybrid Course is a 6-month program consisting of both online work and 8 instructor-led sessions. This program provides students with a complete, comprehensive training experience. The program has been broken down into four individual sections, Anatomy & Physiology, Medical Terminology, Medical Coding, and ICD-10 Coding. Each section will cover the necessary skills to pass the included national certification and pursue entry level employment. The instructor-led sessions will provide the opportunity for students to receive additional instruction, ask questions, etc. In this program, students will gain basic skills in anatomy & physiology and medical terminology as well as a mastery knowledge of how to properly code using the current CPT, ICD, and HCPCS systems.

**To receive full certification candidates must have at least two years of medical coding experience. Those that do not have the required experience, an apprentice designation will be awarded on the credential until the necessary experience is met.**
